Do I need a membership to be matched with Premium Matchmaking clients?
No, we occasionally reach out to non-members in our database if we believe they may be an excellent fit for a Premium Matchmaking client. While non-members are not prioritized due to the lack of verification, we may contact you to discuss your interest and willingness to undergo verification at no cost if you’re a strong match. However, our priority is matching clients with verified members for the most secure and seamless experience.
Will I appear in search results without a membership?
Yes, all profiles, including those of non-members, are visible in the database unless privacy settings have been adjusted.
Can I hide my profile from view?
Yes, you can adjust your privacy settings to hide your profile from the database. This allows you to pause visibility while you focus on a match or take a break from searching. You can readjust your privacy settings at anytime!
Can I search for matches using specific criteria without a membership?
Users without a membership can access basic search filters, including age and location. Advanced filters, such as preferences for children, racial background, or polygyny, are available exclusively to members.
Can I delete my profile from the database?
Yes, you can request to have your profile removed from the database at any time by contacting our support team.
What's the difference between a Membership and your Premium Matchmaking?
Membership:
Membership gives you access to the member database where you can browse potential matches, send messages, and connect with other members. You’ll have the flexibility to explore on your own and take the initiative in reaching out to individuals who align with your preferences. Membership provides the foundation for finding meaningful connections at your own pace.
Premium Matchmaking:
Premium Matchmaking offers a personalized and guided experience. You’ll be paired with a dedicated personal matchmaker who works closely with you to understand your personality, preferences, and goals. Your matchmaker actively searches for compatible matches on your behalf, presenting handpicked options tailored to you. Premium members also enjoy exclusive benefits, such as increased messaging options, video chatting, and priority in matchmaking services. This is ideal for individuals seeking a more hands-on, curated approach to finding their perfect match.
How do I know if I'm eligible for membership?
To be eligible for membership, you must meet the following criteria:
- You are a Muslim who has been practicing Islam for at least one year.
- You are seeking a halal marriage and are committed to building a faith-centered relationship.
- You have a clean background, with no serious criminal history, including charges related to child abuse or domestic violence.
- You are willing to complete the verification process, which includes a background check, ID verification, and providing references. Sisters must provide their Wali’s contact information.

Will I need to pay the one-time verification fee again if I cancel my membership and decide to rejoin later?
No, the one-time verification fee only needs to be paid once. If you choose to rejoin in the future, your previous verification will still be valid for up to 3 years.
Is there a refund policy if I cancel my membership?
We do not offer refunds for canceled memberships, but your access to premium features will continue until the end of your billing cycle.
What if I have a criminal record?
If you have a criminal record, we ask that you disclose it on your profile by selecting the option indicating a criminal history. As part of the verification process for membership, a background check will be conducted. While your results will never be shared with other members, certain offenses—such as charges related to child abuse or domestic violence—will disqualify you from membership to maintain a safe community. For other criminal histories, we only require you to indicate having a record on your profile. Sharing specific details is optional, but honesty is crucial when connecting with potential matches. Transparency fosters trust and genuine connections.

During your initial discovery call, we’ll gather information to assess if we’re the right fit for your needs and assign you the matchmaker best suited to help you.
